Doctors at the Perinatal Center received training on responding to military threats
The center’s employees participated in a two-day training course on coordinating actions in the event of missile and drone strikes on medical facilities.
The training was organized by the Bogomolets National Medical University with the support of UNICEF.
The main goal: to preserve the lives and health of women in labor, pregnant women, newborns and visitors to the center during missile and drone attacks.

The director of the Perinatal Center, Dmitry Govseev, thanked the organizers for the relevant training and emphasized that correct and coordinated actions in wartime are the only way to save human lives.
“Every minute during an air raid or shelling is crucial. When babies and pregnant women are at risk, we have no right to make a mistake. Everyone must act clearly and coherently, without panic and chaos. Even during shelling, the center must remain a place of protection and each member of the team must know their duties in times of danger,” the center director emphasizes.
The Perinatal Center employees who have undergone training will become part of the center’s operational response team. All of them have acquired skills for rapid and coordinated evacuation and assistance in martial law conditions. They will be the first to coordinate the protection of people during attacks.
We remind you that Kyiv remains under constant enemy fire, but despite all the threats, the Perinatal Center continues to work and every day helps new Ukrainians to be born safely.
