Triplets were born at the Kyiv Perinatal Center
Today, triplets were born in the Kyiv Perinatal Center.
Two boys and a girl were born to a 24-year-old woman. The birth took place by cesarean section. Currently, the young mother is recovering from the operation, and the babies are under the supervision of doctors.
The boys weigh 1290 grams each, the girls weigh almost one and a half kilograms.
According to the director of the center, Dmitry Govseev, this is the second triplets this year. In total, 8 triplets have been born in the Perinatal Center since 2024.
Interestingly, in this case, the pregnancy with triplets occurred without the use of artificial insemination technologies.
World statistics show that triplets occur with a frequency of 1 in 6400 pregnancies, if we are talking about the onset of pregnancy without the use of artificial insemination technologies.
The staff of the Perinatal Center of Kyiv congratulates the parents on the addition to the family and wishes the babies a happy fate.
